If you wish to take deep breaths of pure mountain air, feel the heartbeat of the highland chalets and taste the genuine local cuisine, the log cabin “Pri Ingotu” is the right destination for you. The most beautiful path leading to the log cabin will take you through the Vintgar Gorge of Martuljek and past the Martuljek Falls. The trail is moderately difficult and you will need sports shoes to hike it.
A van will take us to the starting point of the hike next to the old Špik hotel, where we shall start walking slowly for about 1.20 hours. Good waterproof sports shoes, a windbreaker and an extra T-shirt (if you get sweaty) are recommended. When we reach our destination, we will spend some quality time together, trying authentic shepherd’s dishes.
You will be able to enjoy:
Meat or vegetable stew, “žganci”, apple strudel, home-made tea.
